Reading Karate
We want to see 100% participation for Reading Karate!! Thanks to all of the familiy members who are helping our first graders read at home. I would like to see that everyone has earned at least a white belt by the end of the week.

We learned about teeth today. We learned how important it is to brush our teeth. We should brush every morning and before you go to bed at night. We should also brush after we eat. People need to go to the dentist twice a year.
In math we are learning about fact families, and fact triangles. We are getting excited to celebrate our 100th day of school next week!

We had a great day today. It was good to be back at school after all of the snow and blowing around we had the past few days. We learned about Groundhog's Day today, the groundhog said it will be an early spring! We went to the computer lab today, art, and had our first day of math flex grouping. Parents, you will learn more about this at conferences.
