About Miss Hunter

Ms.Hunter: This is my first year teaching at Hawthorne Elementary and my 3rd year teaching elementary students. After completing two years of long term subbing in Prior Lake and Shakopee, I am thrilled to have my own classroom. I’ve had a variety of teaching experiences in public education, with most of my experiences in first and second grade. I am thrilled to be part of Hawthorne’s staff this year and am looking forward to a fun school year. I received my early childhood teaching license and degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. I recently completed classes to obtain my K-12 reading license from St. Mary’s University.
